Acne is one of the most common and stubborn skin problems. Regardless of skin type or lifestyle, approximately 80% of the population will suffer from acne at some point in their lives. Yet many patients fail to respond adequately to current treatment options and others develop problematic side effects. Further, the cost and duration of acne treatment with topical medications and oral antibiotics make standard therapy far from ideal.
Acne scarring The aim of treatment is to reduce the pitted appearance of acne scarring. NLite Laser treatment can also help scarring and the doctor at the clinic will advise you whether this treatment would be suitable - for example treatment may be combined with Dermabrasion for optimal results. |
Nlite Laser Therapy for Acne -
The NLite Laser system uses laser energy to calm down acne. The treatment is virtually painless. Although therapy using the NLite™ V Laser is not suitable for all patients, most can benefit from this exciting new therapy. High intensity yellow laser light is pulsed onto the skin of the affected area. Most patients describe the sensation of treatment as "like an intermittent jet of warm water".
The treatment is quick - most treatment sessions last 30 minutes. Some patients require just one treatment and can notice prolonged improvement over the following 3-6 months. Many patients are so delighted with the results that they attend for "booster" sessions every 6-12 months. The treatment typically costs £300.
Our friendly and approachable staff will help you with any queries you have about the clinic and its extensive range of services.
