Nlite treatment for Acne

There are many ways to treat acne - it is a common fallacy that acne only affects teenagers - it can affect men and women of all ages... Acne is one of the most common and stubborn skin problems. Regardless of skin type or lifestyle, approximately 80% of the population will suffer from acne at some point in their lives. Yet many patients fail to respond adequately to current treatment options and others develop problematic side effects. Further, the cost and duration of acne treatment with topical medications and oral antibiotics make standard therapy far from ideal.

Nlite Laser Treatment New

The NLite Laser system uses laser energy to calm down acne. The treatment is virtually painless. Although therapy using the NLite™ V Laser is not suitable for all patients, most can benefit from this exciting new therapy. High intensity yellow laser light is pulsed onto the skin of the affected area. Most patients describe the sensation of treatment as "like an intermittent jet of warm water". The Laser energy penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin helping to kill bacteria deep within the skin. The treatment is quick - most treatment sessions last 30 minutes. Some patients require just one treatment and can notice prolonged improvement over the following 3-6 months. Many patients are so delighted with the results that they attend for "booster" sessions every 6-12 months.
